Multi-Layered Backups

You can't be too careful when it comes to backing up data, that's why we have several system in place for our clients peace of mind.

Redundancy

While not strictly a backup system, we have measures in place on all servers aimed at minimising the need for backups entirely. All machines are equipped with RAID which massively minimises the chance of server restores from backup by implementing redundant storage systems.

SAN backups

All our servers have a gigabit network link to our high capacity iSCSI SAN (storage area network) allowing all backups to be stored outside of the server. Backups are taken once per day with daily, weekly being archives stored. Our SAN backups also use RAID for extra integrity.

Client backups

We always recommend that clients make their own backups and this can easily be done through cPanel. Backups can me made and stored in your home directory, saved to your local machine or transferred to another hosting account, all in just a couple of clicks.
